We are Anna O’Byrne, a fine artist and maker and graphic designer Brian Heffernan. We live in a small house in Stoneybatter in Dublin, Ireland with our daughter Eve.

We began by making cards to help mark occasions with weight and sincerity, expanding our offer to notebooks, framed pieces and hand made geometric baubles. In 2024 we began making beautiful foiled invites and started the AATS range of semi-customizable wedding invitations. The result of conversation and our shared appreciation for the tactility of paper, the work occupies a space somewhere between art and design. Brian and Anna work on design and form together with Anna's focus on colour and production and finishing, while Brian’s focus is on type, strategy and brand design. Sustainability, craft and community lie at heart of the ethos that informs the work. Our products are inspired by the shared human experience and celebrate the everyday highs and lows that make up our lives.

We’re always open to new challenges, so get in touch if you have something specific in mind. If you’re a maker and would like to talk about collaborating, we’d love to hear from you. We post new projects to Instagram, check it out to see what happens next.

Much love A&B..

Celebrate Craft

In the All around the Sun studio we have a Metallic Elephant upright hand foiling press. Hot foiling is a process that involves creating an impression on a surface using thin metal hot foil plates and special foil. When your design is finalised we make them into magnesium plates to impress on to your invites creating texture and impression for a luxurious experience.

Celebrate sustainable

We use Colorplan 270gms paper for all cards and Colorplan 135gms for all envelopes. Colorplan paper has FSC certification so the pulps are from managed forests. We use as little packaging as possible, but the packaging we do use  is made with recycled material and any plastic we use is biodegradable.

Celebrate connections

We believe that carefully made, handcrafted objects can make meaningful personal connections. A formal but heartfelt acknowledgement, or a more personal intimate moment, the care we take in selecting materials and making gives messages a unique weight and authenticity.

Celebrate community

All our products are made by hand in a studio shared with other makers on the Liffey in Dublin. Where possible we source our materials locally and personally support local makers and businesses. When you invest in our products, you are also supporting a vibrant community of makers.
